Then double check that all nuts and bolts have been securely attached.
*Please note that the TRED PRO version of the mounting brackets come with a different style of mounting pin to the ones shown in this picture.
NOTE:
The top mounting bracket dose not have to be centrally mounted.
It can be adjusted up or down depending on the height of your roof rack
in relation to the vehicles roof line.
Do Not Over Tighten U Bolt Flange Nuts.
Excessive over tightening may cause damage to the nylon base plate and
angle bracket.

Before driving and frequently during your journey (particularly on rough roads and off road tracks), check that all nuts, bolts and mounting pins are tight and the MAXTRAX / TRED PRO are securely attached and cannot move.

RAPTOR RACK, Roof Top Mounting Instructions.
TOP MOUNTED POSITION FOR MAXTRAX & TRED PRO.
STEP 1:
Pre assemble the angle bracket and mounting pin bracket with the 30mm Button
Socket Screws. Then attach the MAXTRAX or TRED PRO mounting pins to the mounting pin bracket.

STEP 2:
Attach both RAPTOR RACK mounting brackets to the base of your MAXTRAX / TRED PRO recovery ramps.
(This will help to keep the brackets in an upright position when you place them on top of your roof rack.)
STEP 3:
Place your MAXTRAX / TRED PRO and RAPTOR RACK brackets in position on top of the roof rack.
STEP 4:
Attach the RAPTOR RACK base plate to the underside of the roof
rack and hand tighten the two 30mm Button Socket Screws and flange nuts.
STEP 5:
Remove the MAXTRAX / TRED PRO from the RAPTOR RACK mounting brackets and tighten all nuts and bolts.
WARNING:
Do Not Over Tighten the base plate bolts and Flange Nuts.
